About the Laser Commandos Rules
Have have instated some rules to keep the game fair and fun. All Laser Commandos members are to abide by the rules at all times. New attendees are given some time to adjust and learn the rules, which are usually told from an experienced member. Below are the list of rules we play by.

1. Borders top
While there are no real borders, there may be some off-limit places. Avoid these places, and try not go go too far from the main playing area.

2. Death top
When you die, return to the designated death spot (normally the garage or porch) and wait for the game to be over. You cannot talk or interfere with any of the live players, just the other dead ones. It is also good if you have a way to identify the dead players en transit to the death spot (i.e. raised hands).

3. Guns - Qualifications top
Laser Challenge guns and Laser Challenge compatible guns are allowed on two conditions:
1) They must have sound in the daytime
2) The must have lights or sound at night.
If guns meet these qualifications for the time the game is being played, they are allowed to be used. Modified weapons are allowed as long as they meet those qualifications too.

4. New Players top
It is understood that when you first play, you won't be good at it. It normally takes 2 or 3 games to become pretty well versed at it. New players will be assisted by the experienced ones. Each new person will receive a guide. If there happens to be more new people then experts, they will be paired up. The guide is responsible for teaching the new player all the aspects of the game. The guide will help the new player the duration of time they are there. New players will be given reset disabled guns. This will ensure they don't accidentally reset themselves or others.

5. Physical Contact top
There will be no physical contact between opposing teams during a game. You cannot knock them over, steal their weapon, or hold them in place. You must stay at least 3 feet from them at all times.

6. Starting a Game top
When the game is ready to begin, everyone turns or resets their vest at the same time (or close to the same time) and they have till the blast shield available alert sounds, then the game begins.

7. Time Outs top
You can call a time out if you hurt yourself by falling, hitting something, or any other means of injury. If you see someone get injured, you can call a time out. When a time out is called, you stop playing and help the person out. If the person is ok, everyone MUST return to his or her position when the time out was called. If the person is not ok, he/she should be assisted to the dead spot, and checked out. If they really seem in bad condition, medical help should be contacted.

8. Treatment - Between Players top
Every person should be respectable to each other, even if there are previous hostilities between players. If I see excessive rudeness or torment toward a player or players, that person will be banned from attending for a period of time or permanently.

9. Treatment - Equipment top
Equipment borrowed from me or someone who has extra should be treated as best as possible. It is understood that accidents do happen. This game is about hiding and strategy. Equipment will get nicked and scratched from use. This is ok by me, but LC V2 equipment is becoming rare, and in the future, this might be a problem.

10. Vest - Deactivation top
If your vest gets deactivated by being shot 10 times, getting reset, or getting turned off, return to the dead spot. Even if you accidentally reset it, go to the dead spot. No exceptions will be made.

11. Vest - Hiding top
You are allowed to hide behind objects to avoid being shot, but if you look around the object, you must expose your vest. This makes the game more challenging that you can get shot by just looking around a corner or tree. You can blindly shoot with your gun around an object, but as soon as you poke you head out, you must expose your vest too.

12. Walkie Talkies top
Walkie Talkies are allowed to be used during games. Both teams should have them, if one team doesn't want to use them, they don't have to. The teams must stay on their own channels, and aren't allowed to "tap" into their opponent's channel. To ensure privacy, teams should make up their own code words to use in place of regular ones.
